• Supplied as 3 hinges in a set
• It’s now possible to achieve a considerable fitting time saving when fitting self closing doors where you would traditionally fit hinges and a chain closer
• The adjustable spring hinges featured here will close a door in a similar fashion to a chain type closer; sprung closing action without checking action
• If a controlled closing action is required then you should fit standard hinges and an overhead closer as featured elsewhere on our website
• The self closing spring tension can be disengaged by the removal of a small grub screw, allowing the door to swing freely, if it is no longer required to be a fire resisting door
• 30 minute fire rated
• Internal use
• Note: Intumescent pads should be used to ensure adherence to fire regulations
• Intumescent hinge pads are available in 100 x 30 and 100 x 43: search for ‘intumescent hinge pads for FD30 and FD60’ All of our hinge pads can be cut to size
