- Briton push pad emergency exit device with vertical bolts designed for use in non-public areas on escape routes by fully trained personnel
- Suitable for use on interior fire and smoke doors up to 2500mm high x 1300mm wide
- Suitable for all single doors and non-rebated double doors and in combination with Briton 1438 on the inactive leaf of rebated doors
- Self-handed to suit left and right handed doors
- Features an anti-thrust device that prevents unauthorised retraction of the latch bolt and two-point locking for extra security
- Pad operated vertical bolt with adjustable top and bottom shoots
- Tested in excess of 200,000 cycles
- Fire tested to EN 1634 on timber doors to achieve a 2 hour fire rating, and 4 hours for metal doors
- Supplied with an easy clean socket

- BS EN 179: An emergency application where the exit door is used by trained personnel, not the general public, in a low occupancy environment For example: in a low occupancy place of work, never accessed by the public or those unfamiliar with the operating instructions
- For public areas such as cinemas, schools or hospitals, select products that are BS EN 1125 applicable
